Website Privacy Policy

In short. This website has no ads, no analytics, no trackers and no cookies. Fonts and images are served from this same site, with no third-party services. We only receive what you choose to send through the forms.

Each Steppe app has its own privacy policy: Smak — Recipe Book, Kopiyka — Expense Tracker. The Obrii browser will get its own policy before it launches on Google Play; what it connects to is described on its page.

1. Visiting the website

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare technically processes your IP address and request details (browser, requested page) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use this data for tracking and do not combine it with other data.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is remembered only in your browser (local storage) so the site opens the same way next time. It is never sent to a server, and you can erase it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

2. The “Write to us” form

If you send a message, we receive your email address, the message text, the chosen topic, the page language and — if you entered it — your name. We do not store your IP address: Cloudflare only briefly counts submissions from it to limit spam.

This data is sent over an encrypted connection to this same website and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in our Cloudflare account. We use it only to reply and help you, and delete it within 12 months, or sooner on request. We do not sell or share it with third parties.

3. The “Notify me at launch” form

If you leave your address to hear about an app’s launch, we receive your email address, the app name, the page language and whether you would like to help with testing. We do not store your IP address here either.

We use your address only for a single launch email and, if you chose testing, to add it to the tester list in Google Play Console and send you an invitation. No newsletters and no advertising. The data is stored in the same Cloudflare D1 database and deleted after the launch email, and in any case within 12 months, or sooner on request.

4. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing jason.statusom@gmail.com.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
