What’s new in Kopiyka

The app’s version history: what changes with every update.

  1. Version 1.1.0

    Shared budget, automatic bank records and an assistant everywhere

    • Shared budget: connect your phones or budget together with your family. Transactions, accounts, budgets, goals and recurring payments appear on every device in the space within seconds. Everything is end-to-end encrypted — not even we can read your data. Invite with a link and keep the recovery key in Google Password Manager.
    • Automatic bank records: payments and income from PrivatBank and other banks record themselves from their notifications — into the account you chose for each bank, with a category based on the merchant. Notifications are read only on your phone and never sent anywhere.
    • Share a receipt photo or a bank message to Kopiyka from any app and it is recognised right away.
    • “Add by voice” — a new shortcut on the app icon.
    • The assistant is now everywhere: it sorts uncategorized records, answers questions about the transactions you found, explains spending in a category, suggests how to stay within a budget or reach a goal sooner, and offers a weekly review every Monday.
    • Changed a transaction’s category? Kopiyka offers to move the payee’s other records too.
    • Smoother navigation, tab and list animations.

  2. Version 1.13.0

    A refreshed Kopiychyk and a smoother interface

    • The Kopiychyk mascot has a new look: a coin with an edge and rim, little arms and sparkling eyes. It waves hello, jumps for joy and ponders.
    • The home screen now shows today’s date and a greeting instead of the app name.
    • Screen transitions are smoother, home cards fade and glide into place, and income and spending totals count up to their new values.
    • The balance card now carries the Kopiyka mark.

  3. Version 1.12.0

    Excel statements and a sharper quick add

    • Bank statements can now be imported from Excel files (.xlsx) as well as CSV.
    • Operations recognised by AI quick add can be corrected with a tap: change the amount, category or day.
    • Exchange rates and every currency list show full names, such as “US Dollar” or “Polish Zloty”.
    • The Dynamics chart in Analytics follows your choice of expenses or income, so a salary day no longer flattens daily spending.
    • The app is ready for Android 17, with updated components.

  4. Version 1.11.0

    A new logo, a living Kopiychyk and a smarter AI

    • A new logo — a gold coin cut into pieces that form the letter K — with an animated launch screen on Android 12 and newer.
    • The Kopiychyk mascot comes alive: it breathes, blinks, cheers and ponders, and flips over when tapped.
    • The AI agent remembers the conversation between visits, accepts voice messages, can be stopped, and retries a failed request with one tap.
    • The agent does more: recategorises many operations at once, edits, pauses, pays or skips recurring payments, updates goals and answers with official NBU rates.
    • In quick add you can simply say “coffee 65, taxi 180” and the operations are recognised right away.
    • The amount keypad opens only when tapped, and a just-recorded operation can be undone from the main screen.

    More reliable and more accurate

    • Skip a recurring payment right from Home.
    • Budgets are converted when the currency changes.
    • More accurate analytics.
    • More reliable monobank sync.
    • Protection from double taps and better contrast.

    AI agent and receipt scanner

    • AI agent: spending analysis and tips on how to save.
    • Receipt scanner: a photo of a receipt becomes a ready transaction.
